What a great and diverse year (weather-wise) we have had on Thursday afternoons at the Dobroyd Aquatic Club.

We have had an average number of almost 14 sailors attend the 50 sailing days held this year. We did not have to cancel any day due to inclement weather although there were days when the lack of wind became very frustrating.

We have also watched the clubhouse deck be replaced and we have received many visitors on Thursday afternoons including a staff member of a major newspaper.

We also flew the RC Laser flag at a recent “open day” conducted by DAC.

This document that summarises the year could not have taken place without the weekly reports by Brian Chapman and the guest reporters when Brian was not available.
