We had 14 very keen sailors turn up today for some most unusual sailing.  We ended up calling off sailing after the first race because of the conditions – the heat was quite extreme, and the wind really
kicked in towards the end of the first race.

Instead of race results being attached, I have included the data from the weather station at Dobroyd – it says it all.

We decided to withdraw and celebrate the end of the year and the coming of Christmas, with drinks and nibbles all round.

We also decided to hold over our presentation until early in the New Year when everyone will be back on deck.  Narelle and her family were comfortable with that, and I thank them for the deferral.

We will be sailing for the last time this year next Thursday, and we will have a notice out about it early next week.
